Because you are the credit union!Since combining Bay and FLAG, we’ve received feedback that interacting with two names is confusing. We contemplated different approaches to maintaining both identities, but in the end, we evaluated your input, as well as our team members, and decided to unite under one cohesive brand identity. To develop a new name, we surveyed members, employees, and our Board of Directors, and we worked with consultants to create a new, relatable, fun brand that incorporates the spirit of both markets.Our new unified brand as Hello Credit Union will position us for a brighter future.*S&P Global recently named us one of the top 50 credit unions in the country for financial stability.

Yes. Debit cards will work regardless of the logo on the card. Your debit card number and your PIN will not change. All newly issued cards and renewed cards will feature the new brand (see designs below).
No. These transactions will be processed without interruption. It is not necessary for you to contact your employer or others who deposit or withdraw funds from your accounts. If you send payments to the credit union electronically, please update the payee information to reflect our new name, Hello Credit Union. If you forget to update our payee information, your payment to us will still be processed.
No. Your username and password for online banking will not change. However, you will notice the look and feel of the online banking platform will change to reflect our new name and brand colors. You will also be able to access our automated phone banking system at the same number and with the same login information.
We will continue to offer the same great core products and services you’ve been accustomed to. Over time, we will begin offering new products and services that will reflect our exciting new brand.
No. All loan terms including interest rates and pay-off dates will remain unchanged.
No. Our routing number will stay the same: 263281543. However, you may still notice that number associated with Bay or FLAG Credit Union even after our name change is official. This is normal and will correctly reflect our new name in time.
All credit union phone numbers will stay the same. Our new email address will now have the domain @hellocu.com. However, emails addressed to inboxes @BayCU.com or @FlagCU.com will continue to work.
No, all branches will remain open to serve you. Signage will be erected as soon as possible to reflect the new name, Hello Credit Union.
No. Since your account number is staying the same your current checks will continue to work without interruption. When you order new checks our new name and logo will be added.
Yes, we will update our website to reflect our updated brand and make it easier to locate your favorite tools, including online banking, financial calculators, applications, and more! Our new website URL will be www.HelloCU.com. We will also forward the current website URL to the new site once the transition is complete. Your username and password for online banking also will not change. However, you will notice the look and feel of the online banking platform will change to reflect our new name and brand colors.
